How does The Literary Kingdom protect my personal information?
To safeguard your personal information, we regularly review our contractual and technological security measures. The only people in our company with access to your information are those with a business “need to know.” The Literary Kingdom supports encryption on all transmissions to protect the personal information you provide.

When you create an account with us, we will hold on to your information for as long as the account is open. If you close your account, it will initially be deactivated for six months; this means that it will not be visible on The Literary Kingdom. All your comments to the community will remain (however they will be anonymised).
After closing your account, it will still be possible to restore it within the first six months. You will not have lost your posts, stories, and comments in this time. After six months, we will delete all personal information we hold about you, however, your contributions (comments on stories, forum posts, etc.) which we anonymise will remain.
SDUK – checking the above is the best option for the website, technically possible and within budget constraints etc.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may change this policy at any time. The Literary Kingdom will notify you of any changes made to this policy, and we will make visible to you the last date of updates introduced to this policy. If you disagree with any of the changes, close your account. Your continued use of our services after we send notice about our changes means you are consenting to our privacy policy.
